The vintage design watch brand "BALTIC," based in Paris, France, and "HMS WatchStore," have collaborated to release their first collaboration model, the "AQUASCAPHE Gray JAPAN LIMITED," originating from Paris.
This limited edition timepiece, with only 150 units available, showcases the exceptional partnership between these two brands. BALTIC, established in 2017, has rapidly gained recognition and achieved remarkable growth as a promising watchmaker.

HMS WatchStore has valued its close partnership with BALTIC since 2020. This collaborative model, "AQUASCAPHE Gray JAPAN LIMITED," is the result of their first-ever collaboration and was developed over the course of approximately a year. Both companies worked diligently through multiple trials and errors until they achieved a design that satisfied them both.

The foundation for this collaboration is the "AQUASCAPHE," an authentic diver's watch with an antique-inspired appearance that was initially introduced as the brand's first "tool watch." The distinctive grey, which is HMS WatchStore's brand color, has been incorporated into the dial, bezel, and tropical rubber strap, creating a conceptual all-grey timepiece.

The sunburst dial radiates elegantly, while the subdued tones of the sapphire insert bezel exude a sense of luxury. The result is the ultimate daily watch that thrives in various scenarios, complemented by its refined design.

Unlike the regular AQUASCAPHE model, the bezel design of this collaboration features bar indices, enhancing its visibility. The specifications remain consistent with the previous model, including a high water resistance of 200 meters, a sandwich dial and hands with Super-LumiNova for clear time reading in low light conditions, a scratch-resistant double-domed sapphire crystal, a 39mm case made from corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel, and the inclusion of the Japanese-made manual-winding automatic movement "MIYOTA 9039," which lacks a date display to maintain case thickness and affordability.

Additionally, the watch stands out with high-quality and functional details, such as the small "AQUASCAPHE 200 M" inscription located at 6 o'clock.

The watch comes with a black tropical rubber strap, and as a special addition for this collaboration, a grey tropical rubber strap has been developed and is included as well. The case back features a unique engraving of "BALTIC×HMS" along with a serial number, emphasizing the rarity of this world-limited edition of 150 pieces.

バルチックは2017年に創設され、驚異的な急成長を遂げてきた新進気鋭のウォッチメゾン。
そして、エイチエムエスウォッチストアは2020年からバルチックとの共同歩調を大切にしてきた。両社が初めて手を組み、約1年の歳月をかけて開発したこのコラボレーションモデルは、双方が納得のいくデザインに仕上がるまで何度もトライ＆エラーを繰り返して完成した。
ベースとなるのは、ブランド初の"ツールウォッチ"として発表されたアンティーク風の見た目を持つ本格ダイバーウォッチ「アクアスカーフ」。
エイチエムエスウォッチストアのブランドカラーであるグレーが、ダイヤル、ベゼル、トロピックラバーストラップに採用され、コンセプチュアルなオールグレーの1本となっている。
放射状に広がるサンバーストダイヤルと、落ち着いた配色のサファイアインサートベゼルが高級感を演出し、様々なシーンで活躍する究極のデイリーウォッチに仕上がっている。
通常のアクアスカーフとは異なり、バーインデックスが施されたベゼルデザインは視認性を向上させている。
スペックは従来のモデルと同様に、200mの潜水に耐える高い防水性、暗闇でも簡潔明瞭に時間を読み取ることが可能なサンドイッチダイヤルとスーパールミノバを施した針とインデックス、傷がつきにくいダブルドーム型サファイアクリスタルガラス、耐食性の高い316 L ステンレススチールを用いた39mmケース、ケースの厚さと価格を抑えるためデイト表示のない日本製手巻き機能付き自動巻きムーブメント「MIYOTA 9039」を搭載。また、6時位置に小さく記された「AQUASCAPHE 200 M」の文字など、高品質かつ機能性に優れた細部のディティールが際立っている。
ストラップはブラックのトロピックラバーが装着され、今回のコラボレーションのためだけに開発されたグレーのトロピックラバーも付属する。
特別仕様のケースバックには「BALTIC×HMS」の刻印とシリアルナンバーが刻まれ、世界限定150本の希少性を印象付けている。

ダイバーズウォッチ全盛期の1960年代当時のラバーベルトは、汗を吸収した際に異臭を放つことが問題視されていたため、トロピックラバーを製造していたトロピック社がベルトに香りをつけたのが由来。
